HERMA Eco Stand Alone Label Applicator
A benchmark to get you started
Users valued the HERMA Basic as a reliable entry-level labeller, and the new HERMA Eco continues to deliver on that promise. Highly flexible, packed with premium features, and incredibly user-friendly – the HERMA Eco stands out in its class. Its compact, robust design, a range of dispensing system options, and advanced functionalities ensure exceptional performance and versatility.
A perfect connection
The I/O PINs enable automatic power on/off, separate start of the labelling process, and manual pre-dispensing via system control, making applicator setup even more efficient. An optional end-of-tape monitoring feature ensures seamless operation. Additionally, the printer and peel-off unit have independently controllable connections, allowing configurations such as a printer paired with a pneumatic transfer unit.
What also makes the HERMA Eco a secure long-term investment is its mini-USB connection for firmware updates, ensuring the system remains up to date with future advancements.

A clever operating concept
With just three large operating buttons, a clear display, and a single-level menu structure, the HERMA Eco is designed for intuitive and time-saving operation. This streamlined approach minimises training time and makes familiarisation effortless. Operators can also make fine adjustments quickly and easily, ensuring optimal labelling results with minimal effort.
For exact results
The master encoder function – a rare feature in entry-level labelling – enables the HERMA Eco to deliver exceptional precision. By automatically synchronising the label feed with conveyor belt speed, it ensures consistent accuracy, even at varying labelling speeds of up to 30 metres per minute. Combined with the option to integrate a printer, the HERMA Eco is well-suited for pharmaceutical and healthcare applications, making it a highly versatile solution.

For long running times
The newly designed winder and unwinder further enhance labelling accuracy. Made from high-quality plastic, they are lightweight, reducing the inert mass that needs to be moved – a key factor in improving labelling precision. Additionally, the label roll core, identical to that of the premium HERMA 500 model, offers exceptional stability, ensuring reliable performance.
For short set-up times
The empty carrier tape is removed from the rewinder quickly and easily by pulling a clamping fork off the rewinding core – a particularly user-friendly and easy-to-handle process.

Quickly set up label scanning
The HERMA eco uses either a fork light barrier or FS03 sensor to detect labels on the backing tape. Reliable label scanning is therefore guaranteed for all materials. The easily accessible sensor can be taught in quickly at the touch of a button. This saves time, as there is no need to call up a separate menu and start the labeling process.
