The Final Report has been released, and it provides an in-depth look into the entire ATGA Traceability pilot.
The outstanding achievements are the result of collaboration between Australian Table Grape Association, Agriculture Victoria, Perfection Fresh Australia (producer and exporter), GS1 Australia, and Result Group. More than 840,000 units of table grapes, including bunch bags, clamshells, and cartons, were labelled with a unique serialised QR code and enhanced with a GS1 Digital Link to go to over 15 markets in the Asia Pacific Region.
As a technology provider, Result Group introduced a traceability solution for the table grapes industry that is compatible with current picking and packing methods, with the priority of no change to current methods. The scalability of the technology is critical to developing a solution for the entire industry, including large scale exporters, medium and small growers…
The Cloud solution is identified as a supply chain friendly, FDA and export compliant. The software captures the distribution data, location, aggregation, shipping and unpacking and the temperature is tracked including real time GPS location data, average temp, humidity, overall statistics, tracker info, average voice of product score, journey map, which is extremely important for B2B authenticity engagement. Interoperability between Product Cloud and Picking software, customer ERP and WMS provides up-to-date data.
When the products reach the consumers, they scan the activated GS1 QR code with their native phone camera, which takes them to a microsite that tells a story about the fruit, the farmer, the region/location, and it also includes a survey about the fruit quality – some proven B2C benefits.
