The high-performance HERMA 400S Applicator with Cross Label Traverser is the ideal solution for uses including thermoforming and tray-sealer packaging procedures. The robust and hygienic design has been developed to meet the demands of various industries including food and beverage.
The innovative design with a keep-it-simple engineering approach ensures reliable and accurate label application onto film, post sealing and the top and base of a sealed tray product.
Unlike conventional cross label traversers that are vacuum based, the HERMA 400 applicator is traversed across the web during static cycle ensuring +/- 0.5mm precise label application.
With HMI control, the Cross Web Labeller can easily be set up for label positions, traverse speeds and cycle times using product formats with speeds up to 1 m/sec. It can also be set up to offer up to 10 customer settable recipe/label positions.
Its modular design can accommodate additional axis movement for twin cycles, a requirement for coding with Inkjet or Thermal printers along with end of reel warning for low labels.
Its small footprint means integration onto existing production lines is seamless. Similarly, repositioning within a line or moving it to a different one is very straightforward and can be accomplished in just a few simple steps.
