Our relationship with HERMA now delivers several million square metres of self-adhesive materials and product labels to Australia and New Zealand per year.
At this year’s LabelExpo trade show in Brussels Result Group General Manager, Michael Dossor, will be present at HERMA’s booth to answer questions from our Australian and New Zealand customers about recent HERMA innovations.
These include the new, extremely strong adhesive HERMAsuperPerm 63S that allows even conventional product labels to ensure a first-opening guarantee, as well as the new textured paper types HERMAfelt white brut (316) and HERMApearly sun (330) for wine and sparkling wine labels.
Moreover, HERMA will introduce two new electronic ordering options: a user-friendly online store and a comfortable EDI connection (Electronic Data Interchange) which enables the integration into customers’ ERP systems. Both options help customers save time and increase security.
Focussing on Quality
HERMA’s multi-layer technology, which involves the application of an adhesive with a special intermediate layer, presents considerable advantages for the Australian market.
Multi-layer HERMA materials provide benefits such as reduced adhesive bleeding, and less contamination of the slitting dies for printers. Moreover, the multi-layer technology allows HERMA to control adhesive properties without affecting migration properties – a great plus wherever product safety plays a big role, eg. for product labels in the food industry.
“The great demand for our products shows that technology leadership pays off even in the case of long distances”, says Harald Wallner, Head of International Sales for HERMA’s Self-Adhesive Materials division.
“We are able to score highly by providing outstanding adhesive and functional properties as well as high-quality papers and films.”
A trip to the HERMA’s stand is well worth your time whilst visiting LabelExpo.
